National Health Care Reform Rally & Lobby

The economy Is not working for working families today—and health care is a major part of the problem. Across America, families are making hard decisions between paying for health care and paying for other necessities and struggling with a system that is too often cruel and inefficient. As President Obama has said, "Health care reform cannot wait, it must not wait, and it will not wait another year."

Actors' Equity will Join thousands of AFL-CIO union leaders, members and allies in our nation’s capital as we rally to demand real health care reform for working families. The June 25 mobilization comes at a historic time in our fight to Turn Around America and fix our broken health care system.

SCHEDULE: 11 a.m.: Crowd assembles and buses arrive
11:45 a.m.–12:30 p.m.: Rally
1 p.m.–4 p.m.: Lobby visits and town hall meetings
4:30 p.m.–5:30 p.m.: Debrief and report back
6 p.m.: Buses depart
